FileMaker's Interface

• Redesigned toolbar
• Status Area renamed to Status Toolbar

Script Triggers

• Scripts can now be triggered on the following objects and are based on user actions

Live Sub-Summaries

• Sub-summaries now work in Browse mode
• Live sub-summaries are persistently sorted

Searching

• Users can name and save recent find requests

Email

• Support for SMTP email sending

Layout Mode

• Object tab order re-ording maintains original order

Modify Table View

• Users can insert fields into table views

Functions

• GetFieldName
• Char
• Code
• Get(TriggerKeystroke)
• Get(TriggerModifierKeys)
• Get(DocumentPathListings)
• Get(TemporaryPath) modified to remove temporary contents on FileMaker quit

Script steps

• Set Field [by Name]
• Print step now offers ability to "Specify print options"

Developer Stuff

• File recovery provides more options
• File maintenance feature removed
