Working with FileMaker 8 Relationship Graph Notes

If you're already using FileMaker 8 then here are a few great tips for working with the new notes feature found in the Define Database > Relationship Graph. (FileMaker 8 only)

You can now create new notes with Control-Shift-N (Win) or Command-Shift-N (Mac). This was formerly the key sequence for adding a new Table Occurrence - which is now Ctl-Shift-T (Win) or Cmd-Shift-T (Mac). If you simply remember "R" for relationships, "T" for tables, or table occurrences, and "N" for notes, then you'll be on your way to quick graph manipulation.

The graph also has a mode called Note mode where you can drag out new notes to a preferred size. This can be entered by using Command-N (Mac) or Control-N (Win). Of course, the easy visual way is to click the new icon with the large "A" on it.
