Q: Does anyone know if FM 7 Server Advanced can host filemaker 8 databases?

A: Yes, the file format did not change from 7 to 8. The only difference is the addition of the new features. One thing you'll want to watch for is if a given client is opening the files with Version 7 or 8. This can be accomplished in a startup script using the Get (ApplicationVersion) function.
