My name is Matt Petrowsky. This page contains some information about my work with FileMaker Pro. It may not be fully complete but I'm sure over time I'll add as much info as I can.

History

I've been working with FileMaker software for over a decade now and I've enjoyed the flexibility it provides. I first started using FileMaker when working at a computer shop named Boot's Camera in Fresno, CA. This was around 1990 or 1991 (I forget right now). I had recently been introduced to Macintosh computers and I was working in the software department. Some of the salesmen had created a FileMaker Pro database (Version 2.1 back in those days) and one had mentioned that this application "FileMaker" could not figure out the "points", essentially the margin, on each product sold - which told the sales rep what type of commission they were going to make.

Well, the rest was history (at least for now). I went to college and ran a few businesses and used FileMaker to run those. [This is just a short filler right now until I can spend the time to update this info]
